Global Education and Training Awards

The application cycle for the 2023 AAPOS Annual Meeting is now closed. It will open in May 2022 for the AAPOS 2023 Annual Meeting.

The International Affairs Committee of AAPOS and the Children's Eye Foundation of AAPOS offer a yearly Global Education and Training Award to encourage broad international participation in the Annual Meeting of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.  In 2012, Marilyn Miller, MD gave a generous gift to underwrite the costs of pediatric ophthalmologists outside North America who were unable to cover the fees associated with attending the meeting.
