Pediatric Ophthalmologist

St. Luke's Children's Hospital is currently seeking a full-time pediatric ophthalmologist. This team currently consists of 2 pediatric ophthalmologists and 1 optometrist and specializes in the care of diseases and conditions of the eyes in infants, children, and adolescents, including strabismus, amblyopia, eye misalignment, cataracts, nasolacrimal duct obstruction, nystagmus, and retinopathy of prematurity. The team also cares for adults with strabismus.  The team participates in clinical research through the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group.
As Idaho’s only Children’s Hospital, St. Luke’s supports a vast geographic referral network that includes Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and Northern Nevada. St. Luke’s Children’s has a “hospital within a hospital” structure, within St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, a 388-bed tertiary care hospital located in Boise, Idaho.  St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital has a full complement of pediatric subspecialists (except CT Surgery). Pediatric Ophthalmologist

We are looking to hire a new pediatric ophthalmologist to join our current practice at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, affiliated with St. Louis Children's Hospital. Our busy group currently consists of 4 pediatric ophthalmologists, 8 pediatric optometrists, and 2 orthoptists, and we see a wide range of complex ocular pathology in patients from across the region. This new faculty member would have the opportunity to ramp up quickly with a fully comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology practice including retinopathy of prematurity and intraocular surgery, with opportunities for adult strabismus work as well.
There are ample opportunities for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and for involvement in the many research ventures at Washington University.
