Qualifications:

Pediatric Ophthalmologist: Houston, TX at Texas Children’s Hospital
 

Texas Children's Hospital is seeking an additional full-time pediatric ophthalmologist to join our pediatric ophthalmology team.

The ideal candidate will have a robust clinical background as well as an interest in research or teaching and have completed a formal fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology with potentially an interest in medical retina and/or developing a pediatric ophthalmic hospitalist service.


Applicants must be board-eligible or certified. Primary responsibilities for this position will include clinical duties at Texas Children's Hospital locations in Houston. There will be ample opportunities for teaching and training residents, medical students, and clinical fellows. Additionally, there are many exciting opportunities for research and collaboration with other pediatric subspecialties. The candidate would join a wonderful group of colleagues in pediatric ophthalmology and other pediatric ophthalmic subspecialties. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with experience.

What we Need….. 
 
We seek an American Board Eligible or Certified Ophthalmologist to help us provide patients with excellent pediatric eyecare in an office designed just for kids.   Fully computerized with all the latest equipment, our Ophthalmic Assistants and Scribes will assist you before, during and after patient exams so all you have to do is diagnose and treat.   Physician references upon request.
 
Only candidates who have completed a US Residency in Ophthalmology will be considered and a Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship is preferred but not required.

  • $1,500-$2,000/day
  • Flexible schedule: Mon-Fri, 8a-6p
