Kelsey-Seybold's optometrists and ophthalmologists coordinate your eye care to detect, repair, and prevent eye problems to help protect your vision for life.

At Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, you will see patients in the office from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. Depending on your assigned call group, you will take periodic hospital call at night. Typically, you are not required to stay overnight in hospitals.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an approved training program in the United States.
  • Licensed in the State of Texas.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible.

    FULL-TIME BE/BC FACULTY FELLOWSHIP TRAINED

      The Department of Ophthalmology at UTMB Health in Galveston, Texas is actively recruiting enthusiastic candidates for the position of Pediatric Ophthalmologist. Must be Fellowship Trained and Board Eligible/Board Certified. This position will provide cross coverage care in our League City, Texas City and Galveston locations. Care will include examinations, outpatient clinics, and consults and will have administrative responsibilities including supervising and evaluating residents, providing medical direction, and participating in committee memberships at the department and Health system level.

      The UTMB Health Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (OVS) has a long-standing tradition of excellence in research and education. OVS has trained more eye doctors than any other medical school in the region and boasts over 30,000 ambulatory encounters and 2,600 eye surgeries annually. OVS operates four Eye Centers in the region including League City, Friendswood, Texas City, and Galveston.

      UTMB Health is a billion-dollar health science center comprised of four schools, three institutes, and over 10 exceptional research centers.
